Octobre 2017, Liège
If the world of fashion seems to find its strength in its ability to turn a functionnal object into an art piece (to question the conventions whilst incorporating ideologies), an incrossable border seems to exist between what we see as a sculpture and an everyday object. The role of matters and proportions in interior furnishings defines our idea of well-being, luxury and order. A structure narrowing down the limits of interior design and our relation to the outside world. The goal of this project is to question that structure and potentially go beyond it. What would come out of a room where the furnishings have been arranged according to an outer context ? The Living Technique presents a life technique developped through the reorganisation of the living room technologies. An enforced discomfort for a new sensory experiment, leading to new interactions to our surroundings, a new perception of our environment.
