Seat made for Eva L'Hoest's installation Vestibule
in La Boverie, Liège 2018
This object is made to experiment a virtual reality scene. It is a material landmark to this experience. The net take the perfect body's shape which give a feeling to be trapped in the simulation.
The seat is composed of a net and threaded shaft bolted to the platform. The platform is a sandwich made of mdf and EPS foam covered with concrete and resine.
