Doppelgänger is an exhibition-walk bringing together a dozen emerging artists who represent the dynamism and diversity of the Brussels art scene. The exhibition can be viewed through a series of eight display windows and intervention directly, from the Bourse to the Atelier KANAL at KANAL-Centre Pompidou.
Articulated mainly along Rue Antoine Dansaert, a downtown artery historically linked to creators and accessible to view day and night, this exhibition rethinks the intertwining of the cultural and economic sectors. It raises the question of where works should be exhibited and how they should be perceived by a wider audience, in a spirit of returning to public art.
