  • "A picture often comes to mind: look at the walls of a house as a skin. What happens when you remove this skin, look behind it, when it is broken open? The house becomes a peeling layer of layers, the heart of the house is uncovered. It becomes porous, changes its dimensions, changes into an object through which one can step into the centre of the living space "

These objects hijack architectural codes and elements such as grids, false walls, facade claddings, windows, curtains and blackout films, all these layers which hide, which conceal wall openings. In the building, these openings usually allow you to see through, to communicate indirectly (see our apartment neighbors), they make the walls breathe. Here, a space is hidden there, they give way to the imagination of a presence. Due to their design, these works are micro-architectures. The status of these objects is deliberately ambiguous, they do not provide functional lighting, but are nevertheless inspired by shapes known in the house, such as a chandelier or a wall lamp. Composed mainly of materials recovered in the street, they literally peel away what the walls of our homes are made of. They highlight their porosity and the flows that pass through them. They are a form of testimony to the concept of intimacy, indoor living and voyeurism.
