"My inspiration is mainly guided by what happens in my immediate environment. Brussels is a city that brews a lot of community, culture and history, everything is mixed, an anti-hierarchy as shown by the components of the furniture presented here. I want to bring the atmosphere of these streets into the living room to reconnect with a material and social reality that is often forgotten and that tends to radically metamorphose. These pieces with multiple inspirations represent scenes of life by dialoguing between them. They are also manifest works that function by themselves, it is a matter of re-emerging other ways of producing according to one's own economic status and by oneself by privileging precision to perfection."
