The glass face of this clock is hand-painted and dates back to 1882.
I wanted to highlight the gap between the year this object was produced and the present, that precise moment when we want to know the time. Paradoxically, I decided to blur its readability by placing it in front of a moulded glass pane, as if to make us spend more time reading the information it provides.
